C.P.Company Fall Winter 2020 2021 Advertising Campaign
C.P Company introduces Fall Winter 2020 2021 Collection inspired by the Urban Protection series originally devised at the turn of the millennium. The series returns with a play of colours and transparencies, engineered for life in the city.
The practical Puffer jackets and functional lighter weight windbreakers turn into portholes where it is possible to see the inner part of the item, creating fascinating effects. The exclusive proprietary fabrics for the season are FW20 are the D.D. SHELL and the OUTLINE, declined in a palette that goes to the coldest light blue to the warmer earthy colours.
The D.D. Shell pieces feature a 10 denier nylon micro rip-stop with a crystal ciré finish. Following the Direct Down (D.D.) way of working, the tunnels that hold the padding are first sewn, and then filled using injector funnels. This way of working is designed to eliminate the loss of feathers through the seam holes and also make the finished garments softer. The lack of feathers under the tunnel seams also adds a chiaro/scuro element to the finished pieces. The base fabric for the Outline pieces is the same down proof 10 denier nylon micro rip-stop ciré as used in the D.D. Shell offering, but here the padding is made with a Primaloft quilting.
Primaloft, the next generation of man-made insulation, is as efficient as the finest down, but has the added advantage it stays dry in wet conditions. Outline garments use the transparency of the crystal ciré finish of the nylon ripstop and black seam bindings and pocket linings to emphasise the construction of the finished jackets. The contrast between the white Primaloft and the black seam finishing most clearly visible in the bright colours, still plays a subtle, tonal game in darker tones.
As always C.P.Company successfully transforms the aspect practicality into silhouettes becoming one of the most relevant and innovative urban wear.
