From collaboration between Rue des Mille and a fashion designer, Alessandro Enriquez, MARINE LOVE is born.

The summer capsule that takes us directly on the shore of the new “Very exactly Italian”.

The friendship between the Tuscan prêt-à-porter jewelry brand and the Sicilian fashion designer and writer, Alessandro Enriquez, has been born a few years ago. United by the common passion for Italy and the relentless search for an iconic, current, ironic style, never equal to itself, and at the same time, unmistakable.

From this friendship, the Rue des Mille’s summer 2021 capsule collection designed by Alessandro Enriquez was born. A hymn to the fantastic Italian summers, those of crowded beaches and striped umbrellas, infinite terraces over the water and roundabouts overlooking the sea. Carefree thoughts of our childhood made up of endless holidays and salt-flavored loves, of bright colors and magical nights, of passionate music and happy tables.

MARINE LOVE is a dive into Italy full of life, told in first person by Alessandro Enriquez, the designer who immersed into the refined and timeless beauty of the Relais Villa Vittoria on Lake Como, he surrounds himself with characters who seem to have just come out of an Italian comedy, among friends, dancers and pop icons like Viola Valentino, everyone all around this mise en place almost like the daliniana sculpture, singing choruses of timeless Italian songs like Comprami and  Romantici di Viola.

“A burst of happiness” says Federica Pieroni, marketing manager at Rue des Mille “is just what we need this summer. When will we finally return to travel and take back the joys of our beautiful country, which will be, for obvious reasons, the favorite destination of Italians. Exactly as it happened in the 1950s and 1960s when the entire families left the cities to find themselves on the Riviera. And who better than Enriquez could interpret this vintage mood in a modern way. Alessandro is a multifaceted, cosmopolitan designer but with strong Mediterranean roots: a Sicilian mother, a Franco-Tunisian father of Spanish origin. His style is recognized worldwide for his ability to combine tradition and pop culture. “

Well, in every detail of MARINE LOVE, from the design of the jewelry to enameled colors, from the graphics of the pack to the gadgets and other communication materials, we find all the warmth of the Mediterranean accompanied by pop freshness of Alessandro Enriquez’s style, made of colors vitamins and prints, of unusual mixes, of lucky messages and playful designs, in which the Italian spirit plays a central role.

The summer capsule of Rue des Mille has 33 jewelries including mono earrings, ear cuffs, chokers, necklaces, rings and anklets, made of yellow gold and enamel, in the colors of summer: blue, yellow, pink, turquoise, coral. The absolute protagonists of the collection are the 4 marine subjects, ironic and enjoyable, such as the heartthrob lobster (LoveSter), the dream catcher crab (MiSter), the friendship claw (SeaSter), the holiday amulet (HolySter).

MARINE LOVE will be sold as a limited edition throughout summer 2021, it will be launched starting from the end of May online and at Rue des Mille retailers, with special attention to  points of sale at the most popular summer destinations on the Peninsula.
