Dardust in exclusive Avril 8790 on Storm and Drugs Tour
Dario Faini, the Italian songwriter, record producer, pianist and composer of Italian and international award winning songs, who is also known as Dardust, wears the exclusively customized knitted cardigan by Avril 8790, with the brand’s advanced creation of Dardust’s personal symbol on the back, during live performances of the ongoing “Storm and Drugs” Tour held at Italian major cities all through this summer and fall.
Storm and Drugs Live is a show divided into two acts: the first, Storm, more intimate and with a theatrical slant, inspired by the poetics and imagery of the eighteenth-century philosophical and literary movement; the second, Drugs, influenced by references to the electro scene and rave atmospheres.
The tour takes its name from Dardust’s new album, “SAD Storm and Drugs”, released on January 17, 2020. The album represents the latest chapter in a record trilogy that spans the geographical / musical axis Berlin – Reykjavík – Edinburgh . With this trilogy, Dardust gave life to the first Italian instrumental music project capable of combining the minimalist piano world with the current electronic imagery of Northern European origin.
