RED CELEBRATES THE COMPANY’S 85TH ANNIVERSARY AT PITTI WITH A COCKTAIL PARTY AT PASZKOWSKI
On the occasion of Pitti Immagine Uomo 104, Red celebrates the 85th anniversary of the historic Calzificio di Parabiago founded by Mario Re Depaolini and Italian excellence capable of expressing the values and quality of Made in Italy all over the world. So, in the setting of Paszkowski – iconic café-concert, an authentic institution of the city, Red welcomed friends and fans of the brand to toast the important anniversary.Special guest of the evening: Claudio Marchisio, former footballer and captain of Juventus, today entrepreneur and sports commentator – as well as Ambassador of the’Red style’.
With the athlete, a champion of sportsmanship and savoir faire on and off the field, still beloved by the Italian and international public, Red shares solid values and passions,tireless commitment and dedication, and a certain idea of elegance and style that also and above all passes through the search for details that can make the difference, which, in the guardarobamaschile, in the right sock choice. And to tell these (first) 85 years, the brand presents an exclusive sock,renamed “85”, the result of collaboration with the Treviso illustrator NicolaFerrarese. Against the backdrop of a rocky wall that becomes a colorful pattern, two stockers challenge each other in parallel in reaching the summit, on which the number “85” stands out, representing the natural attitude of the Red man, his positive values and aesthetic sensitivity.
“We could have found no other way to tell the story of our 85th anniversary than through a special stocking,” says Giovanni Marazzini, Sales Manager and third generation, with his brother Michele, at the helm of the Company. “The graphic design created byFerrarese fully renders, in its symbolism, the idea of the path achieved by the Company from its origins to today, and of its continuous striving to improve, to reach the highest levels in terms of production and innovation. And if it is the goal of the two athletes is to reach the top, however, it is clear that they have not yet reached it:we have taken a step forward, but we have not yet reached the goal,” Marazzini concludes.
