Tagliatore Fall Winter 2018-2019 Advertising Campaign
Film cuts, which rummage the sentimental action of the characters. The architectural design context of Villa Atelier, a well-known brutalist style home built in the middle of the ’70s, reinforced with concrete by a student of Carlo Scarpa to describe the inner tension that permeates the first campaign in which Tagliatore and Tagliatore 0205 worlds meet, for the Fall Winter 2018-19 season.
The made in Puglia sartorial house chooses to tell the latest collections in an almost bespoke path, inside and outside the psychology of the protagonists, to fulfil the garments’ content that know not only to deliver beauty but also to create structures to the their wearers. It is a conflict-not conflict between two lonely souls, a woman and a man on the run, from one to another and from themselves, who touch each other without meeting, dressing in elegant suspicion in a metaphorically cold climate, along the course of day that remains suspended. In the foreground, instead, they meet, almost to fit together, for perfection of the proportions and value of the fabrics that defined the silhouettes of Tagliatore and Tagliatore 0205, which interpret the brand DNA and revisit the collections’ key pieces: trench, straight cut blazer and evening jacket for her, coats, suits and three-button jackets for him.
To harmonise the outfits, the taste and the experience of Irina Marie,
fashion editor of Numerò France, were already linked to the previous campaigns of Tagliatore 0205. Joseph Cardo, fashion and celebrity photographer whose works present a particular chromatic point of view. He’s the experimenter of images for this first doubled up campaign, the almost pushed neon palette with “brutalising” touches are the faces and models of Tagliatore and Tagliatore 0205 Fall Winter 2018-19 Collections.
