ALLEGRÍO is opening in the heart of Rome: the new international ambient food destination place, where Food Experience, Lifestyle and Home Decor are harmoniously blended. Sabrina Corbo, an Italian-British creative director with a passion for art, architecture and interior design wanted to create in the eternal city, an innovative concept where contemporary Italian cuisine is the protagonist. A restaurant where it is not you who adapts to the place, but it is the place that adapts to you. Every mood has its own meeting point, its own atmosphere, its own menu. In fact, the logo of ALLEGRÍO features a sun with four souls that correspond to the four rooms of the restaurant: JOYFUL, LUCKY, INTREPID, IN LOVE.

Sabrina Corbo for this project has called the best craftsmen of the Italian tradition to work with her: artisans, artists have fully interpreted her vision to create an accomplished experience. To welcome guests, ALLEGRÍO’s sun rises on the central wall of the Lounge, where bronze sculptor Marco Riccardi, created the long counter in wood and bronze. Light for ALLEGRÍO, a symbol of life, is represented in all its strength by the lighting design created by architect Massimiliano Baldieri. But it is the light of another artist, Moritz Waldemeyer, an internationally renowned British-German light designer, who creates with his unprecedented installation “Where the Stars Align,” a unique atmosphere that accompanies guests to the different worlds of ALLEGRÍO.

Each room has its own menu with its unmistakable dishes, a true emotional journey to get carried away and immerse yourself in the ALLEGRÍO food experience. From the restaurant menu to the pizza menu to the desserts, all the proposals mirror the same philosophy. The emotion that each room wants to convey is represented by extraordinary and unique dishes that make the experience exciting.
