As part of its anniversary celebrations, for the first time, C.P. Company collaborates with Barbour the leading brand in terms of heritage and lifestyle.

Since 1894 Barbour has been producing the best British weather protection clothing in Britain. Since 1971 C.P. Company innovates Italian Sportswear, the kind of clothing created by its founder Massimo Osti. To celebrate its 50th birthday, it pays tribute to the role played by South Shields waxed cotton in the evolution of Italian sportswear. Made in an exchange of specialized techniques between the two companies, this jacket, however, created itself.

The C.P. Company is known for its iconic Mille jacket – also often referred to as the “Goggle Jacket”. Designed in 1988, one of the inspirations comes from the 1960s Barbour Solway worn by Massimo. Thus was born the collaboration characterized by the union between the Mille Jacket and the Solway, in two innovative interpretations capable of telling the best of both styles in different fabrics and colors.

Before the official launch, C.P. Company will be giving away 24 exclusive jackets, in four special colors. From 9 to 12 September, users from all over the world can participate and have the opportunity to purchase one of these special jackets. All proceeds will go to the World Land Trust (worldlandtrust.org), an international charity that protects the world’s most biologically significant and endangered habitats.
