DOMINGO CELEBRATES 25 YEARS WITH A NEW PROJECT ON CONTEMPORARY COMMUNICATION INNOVATION
Founded by Enzo Domingo in 1999, Domingo Communication has evolved into a leading omni-channel communication agency. Over the years, it has become an unconventional circuit and a hub for disseminating socio-cultural narratives and experimental creative expressions. Domingo connects people, brands, and projects through ever-evolving ideas, experiences, and languages.
To mark its 25th anniversary, Domingo highlights its evolution with the formation of the DMNG Corp Group, a strategic hub and agency network comprising 12 entities working synergistically to develop integrated projects. These projects range from strategic consulting, communication, design and production to digital transformation and technological innovation.
“I have always believed that evolving our vision and approach to communication is crucial for achieving tangible results, finding joy in our work, and pursuing our dreams passionately. This mantra has guided my family and me through these 25 years at Domingo, on a wonderful journey where looking forward has always been our priority. The future is a horizon of opportunities that can be seized by understanding change at the right moment. In this journey, experience is intertwined and nourished by the fresh perspective of new generations, who are the true drive for our continued curiosity. I have always strongly believed in the value of human capital and authentic relationships that foster sharing, exchange, and enrichment, aiming for excellence, which in our field and beyond, is synonymous with success,” says Enzo Domingo, Founder & CEO.
Domingo marks a milestone in its evolutionary path by launching the celebration of its 25th anniversary with an evocative project named Domingo-ism. This multidisciplinary project, starting in May and unfolding over the next 8 months (until December 2024), is divided into five chapters, creating an experiential and innovative journey focused on the connection between word, material, and technology. This fosters a social and cultural debate on the present, encouraging new perspectives in contemporary communication.
In the first chapter, Domingo and the DMNG group continue their exploration of cutting-edge technologies, specifically focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI). The project’s interest lies in AI’s influence on the global communication landscape, as interpreted artistically by renowned international AI artists. Key themes such as individual and community, natural and artificial realms, and gender diversity- uniqueness are explored by the artists in the form of ‘Stunning-Visual Ethical Dilemmas’.
Curated personally by Carlo Domingo, Managing Partner of Domingo | DMNG Corp, in collaboration with Francesco Sorrentino, Co-Founder of Creaitors.co, the project aims to connect AI creators and advanced technologies with key figures in the fashion, design, and lifestyle sectors. The goal is to create new visual paradigms, foster proactive debate, and generate impact within their respective creative processes.
“The Domingo-ism project celebrates our history and the communication field over the past twenty-five years through the interconnection of all its powerful and extraordinary manifestations. We look to the future in its most abstract and virtual forms, as well as in the realization of visions that help shape tomorrow’s world—already today—where communication, technology, and culture play a primary role. Our extensive research allows us to build solid relationships and develop projects with pioneers, professionals, and talents in the creative, digital, and technological fields. In this context, Artificial Intelligence (AI) represents the new piece of a complex puzzle that acts 360° to simplify processes, reduce time, and remain increasingly competitive internationally. Our collaboration with Creaitors.co, the first AI agency in Italy for the fashion, luxury, and lifestyle sectors, aims to evolve company perspectives through AI, enhancing their welfare and performance. The group’s mission remains focused on innovation, consciously investing in the future,” states Carlo Domingo.
‘Stunning Visual Ethical Dilemmas’ aims to represent and narrate today’s fundamental challenge: shaping the future responsibly, using new technologies like artificial intelligence with a strong commitment to ethical design. This involves integrating moral and social values into the technological development process, ensuring innovations respect human rights, privacy, and security, and promoting equity and sustainability. Such an approach not only protects individuals and society from the potential negative consequences of new technologies but also fosters the creation of innovative solutions that contribute to global well-being and progress,” says Francesco Sorrentino.
The site-specific installation, conceived exclusively for Domingo-ism, was created in collaboration with atelier X, a Milan-based design studio known for its fluid resin creations under the studio X brand. With a strong material connotation, atelier X interpreted the role of material in connection with new technologies, contributing to creating an experience that stimulates the senses and highlights the power of touch.
The Domingo Building hosts over 60 Italian and international brands and 18 AI artists, creating a path that goes beyond celebration. It is a project of genuine interdisciplinary contamination aimed at stimulating new viewpoints and independent perspectives among fashion, design, culture, technology, and communication.
The exhibition, the first of the five chapters of the Domingo-ism project, will be open to the public by appointment until November 1, 2024.
