GATHER FESTIVAL: THE FESTIVAL THAT CELEBRATES WELL-BEING IN ALL ITS FORMS
The first edition of the Gather Festival was held from July 19 to 21, offering three days and three nights of full immersion to celebrate wellness in all its forms, community, and knowledge in its various facets. The setting for this unique cultural experience was the Archaeological Park of Selinunte, one of the most beautiful and evocative places in Europe, where selected guests could network, learn, and relax.
During the day, cultural masterclasses and more were conducted by leading experts in their fields and international speakers, including Jorginho, the European champion and partner of Gather Investing. At night, the sound of some of the best DJs on the international music scene filled the air, with Guy Gerber, also a Gather partner, curating the music down to the finest details, and the duo Giolì and Assia playing in a suggestive and rhythmic atmosphere against the backdrop of incredible Greek ruins.
The goal of Gather Festival was to create an authentic and highly relevant community through unprecedented experiences, with the mission of educating and inspiring people from all over the world to improve their physical and mental well-being and work towards their freedom, not just financially. Gather aims to break down barriers to investment and create equal opportunities for all, thus closing the gender investment gap. The Festival represented an opportunity for those who embrace values such as sustainability and inclusion and want to create something new, empowering action rather than just words.
Being part of a group means sharing moments and experiences, which is why Gather Festival offered a range of activities, including sports and cultural masterclasses and exclusive evening events. Among the focuses of the Festival was female empowerment, with talks that led to reflections on how to enable women, through education and community, to gain greater confidence when managing their money, a topic that is increasingly part of the global debate. Intercultural inclusion was also highlighted, with Jorginho presenting new celebrity investors on this occasion, including Kalidou Koulibaly, the African champion and one of his closest friends, representing the Islamic community.
The choice of the Archaeological Park of Selinunte was no accident, as it is a fantastic place capable of telling the soul, stories, flavors, and colors of a territory, a great Italian cultural heritage, that wants to be valued and shown with pride. The selected guests who attended the Gather Festival had the opportunity to discover the uniqueness of Sicily, thanks also to the participation of producers and excellence, in a journey where significant figures contributing to the development of the local economy were involved, promoting a responsible attitude in respect of the environment and community.
