The young Swiss designer, Rafael Kouto, wins “Lotto Sport Award 2019” with distinguishing works that fused the brand’s heritage with the elegance of tennis, Italian futurism and African craftsmanship, giving life to a concept of sportswear that is both technological and tribal.
The three finalists of the “Lotto Sport Award” – in addition to Kouto, the Finnish designer, Anni Salonen and the South Korean designer, Jimin Kim – have had the opportunity to tap into the historical archive of the brand to create an outfit inspired by the world of great tennis world.
The winner will participate in a training course in the company within the style office and will develop and directly follow his own capsule collection of sporting inspiration.

A path confirmed also by recent partnerships with young designers such as Damir Doma, Numero 00 and TPN.
