SECOLO PRESENTS MURALLA ROJA
SECOLO presents a selection of new products for Milano Design Week 2023. The London|Milan-based furniture brand’s mission is to create iconic elements that support a traditional aesthetic contaminated by a contemporary and unconventional style.
The exhibition project takes its name from the famous work by Riccardo Bofill: La Muralla Roja, an iconic and sensational structure located in the Spanish town of Calpe. The installation, designed under the artistic direction of Artefatto Design Studio, is characterized by a shade of pink similar to that used by the Spanish architect, and is structured on three distinct levels. The main space on the ground floor houses a living room, where the Tateyama and Tateyama XL sofas, displayed together for the first time, welcome us with their soft and inviting curves. Completing the space are both the Laghi coffee table which, as the name suggests, refers to the shape of a body of water, and the Pingu side table, the playful element in the space.
With its products, SECOLO demonstrated the incredible ability to produce articles 100% Made in Italy, characterized by innovative aesthetics and offering a sophisticated visual experience. Made to measure is an especially important and fundamental aspect of the SECOLO identity. With its unique and sculptural design accessories an ever-increasing range of fabrics, finishes and materials make up an offering that interprets an elegant style available to original and timeless creativity.
