On the occasion of MFW – Milan September 2022, Another-1, a luxury fashion web3 platform that was created to combine the physical and digital dimensions, renews its collaboration with the world of fashion and specifically luxury accessories, thanks to a project created exclusively for the footwear brand Casadei.

The collaboration is activated to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the iconic Blade shoe, and here comes to life Blade 2049 NFT with Project Nayom1.

The seemingly impossible design challenge turned into cult reality by Cesare Casadei, and the Blade Silhouette was the star of a new challenge designed to crown its 10-year anniversary celebration. Casadei enters the NFT world and inaugurates the Casadei 3.0 activation on the virtual space Decentraland, at the hands of Cesare’s daughter Arianna Casadei and Another-1.

This is a true 360° collaborative project between Casadei and Another-1, creatively directed by shoe designer Ricardo Cook and supported by CGI artist Alessandra Vuillermin. They also add the work and expertise of meta fashion hubs Customix and Design Accelerator, with their avant-garde digital skills.

Opening up to a new community to explore its DNA through an immersive “real life” experience, Casadei transports users to a retro-futuristic metropolis among skyscrapers and neon lights. In front of the user, a dystopian android stands out at its full skyscraper height, hoisted on a pair of imaginative, out-of-scale Blades, the initial vision before the creature, a digital replicant of Hardmetacore, bends down to welcome the visitor into the palm in its hand and together embark on the journey. At the avatar’s feet, the shoes introduce the heart of Project Nayom1, for which Casadei and Riccardo Cook conceived and created a shoe working within a 100 percent virtual space, which together with 1,000 Non Fungible Tokens make up Casadei’s Phygital offering in collaboration with Another-1.

The consumer experience will be completed by receiving a free personalized avatar that can be used on the Decentraland metaverse. In this way, Casadei becomes the author of a revolutionary change. Project Nayom1 will also become a case history of digitizing luxury brands, helping to show consumers not only the value of blockchain technology but also that of a phygital experience.
